The Faithkeepers program is designed to connect children to their faith - through a relationship with their sponsors and family - beginning the day of baptism and continuing until young adulthood at age 18.
Faithkeepers picks up where other programs leave off. For example, in the Lutheran church, Augsburg offers an infant program called Splash and Youth and Family Institute offers its "Faith Chest."
Faithkeepers builds on these initial connections by providing parents and sponsors tools - in the form of gifts, activities, and story sharing - to take faith building deeper into the home, outside of the church, where most of a youth's time is spent growing up.
